Absolutely delicious. The Pad Thai was thick and filling, and the red curry was bursting with flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was beautiful.
The service was also top-notch - so friendly and attentive. A real gem of a restaurant and we look forward to coming back.

I had been to this place before and thought it was not bad. I had a hankering for a curry after a couple of days out camping, so I returned on a quiet Tuesday night. I was greeted by friendly staff and presented an extensive menu.
I ordered a beef vindaloo, garlic naan, saffron rice, papadams, and a glass of Riesling. I was warned the vindaloo was hot, but I think that’s what most of us expect. It was pretty hot but not unbearable by any means and actually quite delicious.
All in all I can’t fault this place after two visits and will definitely go back next time I feel like a curry.

First, the obvious thing: this place is a value play. Where else can you get this much food for the prices they charge?
But how does it taste? The food is nothing to shout about. The saving grace is that their sambal is pretty good. Other than that, it was pretty meh!
And service? Nonexistent. To be expected. But to make things worse, even after repeating my order THREE times (asked for curry fish fillet bee hoon, not the regular white soup one), they still got it wrong!!! Seriously? Then it took more than 30 mins to get our food with appetizer coming last. I mean does nasi lemak take 30mins??? And it was pretty clear that they were prioritising takeaways because the guy after me got his food 15 mins before me.
Nope - not worth the hassle even at the attractive prices.

Kambo is a traditional Cantonese restaurant. Old school in a good nostalgic way. We had crab noodles and ‘Chinese ham’ and both were delicious. Crab was fresh and full of meat, noodles were done nicely with lots of gravy. Chinese ham and jellyfish dish was tasty and smelled strongly of sesame oil. Service was extremely polite and friendly. To top it off we got free ‘tong suit’ and fruit after. Very nice experience, feels like the Chinese restaurants of my childhood. Best of all it was well priced for what we ate. Highly recommended.

This meal was absolutely incredible!
The crab congee in the bubbling clay pot tasted so rich, creamy and comforting — perfect for ordering in winter.
The marbled beef slices were stunningly fresh and beautifully presented, just melted in your mouth after swishing in hotpot.
And the fish was so delicate and tender which is a great choice for hotpot. What a delicious spread!
I also loved the vibe of this place — the decor was elegant and cozy, with a nice mix of traditional and modern touches.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Service was smooth and fast, and they made us feel really welcome from the moment we walked in.
Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Note: I ordered my meal on Doordash so unfortunately I can't comment on the service and atmoshphere. I can only comment on the food.
Really enjoyed the food I got here. I ordered a Burger with the Lot Snack Pack which included Chips and Two Potato Cakes. The entire pack only cost me $20. It tasted really fantastic. Burger was cooked really well, wasn't too greasy and the Burger wasn't convoluted too which was great. I also bought a Pineapple Fritter which was way bigger and juicer than I've had at other Chippies. I also got a Deep Fried Mars Bar which was really sweet, soft and gooey on the inside.
Overall I only ended up paying $26.70 for my whole meal (this total is not including a service fee for using Doordash or a delivery fee). It was amazing how affordable my whole order was.
Great work team! I'll definitely need to come back!
