I did not want to review this place and shine light on this hidden gem. But this is one amazing place the spicy chicken noodles and the vegetable dumplings are amazing. The spiciness is perfect and the portion size perfect for the night. Did not expect this off the road place to taste this good. Will definitely come back again.

I was here today with my family in search of "bak chor mee." It was nice enough if you are away from Singapore. However, we found the char kway teow and the KL Hokkien Mee to be very good - even though the former lacked blood cockles. And the Teh Tarik here was also very good.

Blue Grenadier crumbed and grilled was perfect. Great piece of fish. Came with a piece of lemon, as it should.
Burgers were rated at 9/10 and 8/10 by my very critical children, and they would get them again. The scallops were good inside the batter, however they were a bit wet drippy. The potato cakes were ok. The chips had the extra chicken salt we asked for. Good to see a shop that doesn't have the fluoro yellow radioactive tasteless chips like many others do now.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for family dinners or large groups. They serve delicious Hong Kong-style 'tai chou' dishes with generous portions, and the prices are quite reasonable. While the atmosphere and service are typical for this type of establishment, the quality and value of the food make it worth a visit.

My vegetarian food was wonderful as always, but my partners meat dishes were barely edible to him and were thrown away. He described his satay chicken skewers as like trying to eat one of those elastic tension bands used for exercise, and the chicken looked weird, like it was made of very hard stringy plastic, and was a weird white colour too. It didn't look (or feel) like real chicken. His beef dish he described as tasting like the meat had been boiled and had an unpleasant texture to him. He loved the veggie fried rice and prawn crackers though!
