Order Food in boronia

I brought my mum here tonight as at the tender age of 81 she had never had Peking Duck. Whilst the restaurant did not have many other diners, it ensured that Peggy (our host) was attentive and responded quickly to our needs. We had the Peking Duck 4 dish option, soup, sanchoi bao, Peking Duck and shredded duck fried rice... absolutely fantastic. Whilst not at quite the same level as the Peking Duck restaurant in Beijing, anyone local (or even only somewhat near) should definitely give this little gem a go. Or at the very least order in... you won't be disappointed!

I’ve been dining here for several years now, and the prices here are incredibly affordable! They haven’t raised their prices in over three years, and there’s no surcharge at all—truly a restaurant with integrity. The portion sizes are very generous, totally worth the price, especially at this tough period, I believe this is a good behaviour that all the restaurants should learn from A Great Place. What’s even more impressive is the staff’s service—super friendly and attentive, far exceeding the service you get at many takeaway places. Every visit feels welcoming. Highly recommend!

Always a great time in there. I shop there about once every 2 weeks for the past few months. I can walk in, the owner knows my name, my order and doesn't even need me to go to the counter unless I need to order extra. Its that extra mile they go to learn and remember customers orders. 10/10 for customer service. Recommended to everyone

Note: I ordered my meal on Doordash so unfortunately I can't comment on the service and atmoshphere. I can only comment on the food. Really enjoyed the food I got here. I ordered a Burger with the Lot Snack Pack which included Chips and Two Potato Cakes. The entire pack only cost me $20. It tasted really fantastic. Burger was cooked really well, wasn't too greasy and the Burger wasn't convoluted too which was great. I also bought a Pineapple Fritter which was way bigger and juicer than I've had at other Chippies. I also got a Deep Fried Mars Bar which was really sweet, soft and gooey on the inside. Overall I only ended up paying $26.70 for my whole meal (this total is not including a service fee for using Doordash or a delivery fee). It was amazing how affordable my whole order was. Great work team! I'll definitely need to come back!

DO NOT EAT HERE!! once you’ve eaten once you’ll definitely go back for more :) The food honestly is pretty good, and the portion sizes are amazing for the price—make sure to eat it when it’s fresh though (Meal for One & Potato Cakes) The owners here are very nice too! It’s a great, quick local spot for food

The Sarawak kolo mee was slightly lacking in flavour. There was plenty of noodles. Perhaps that was the reason. It also needed more spring onionsand garlic to enrich the flavours. However for the price that they were charging, I am not really complaining. If I'm in the area I would still come back to try the other dishes. I am willing to amend my star rating if a future visit proves that it deserves a higher rating. It's a help yourself to the chili sauces and water place. Pay and order at the counter. Your food will be delivered to you.
