I did not want to review this place and shine light on this hidden gem. But this is one amazing place the spicy chicken noodles and the vegetable dumplings are amazing. The spiciness is perfect and the portion size perfect for the night. Did not expect this off the road place to taste this good. Will definitely come back again.

Tried this for lunch today and it was soooo yummy!! the fish was fresh and crispy. the prawns and the scallops were so big and cooked perfectly. Seasoned really well. The owners were lovely. Thank you

I dropped into Danny’s Kopitiam for lunch and left with the unshakable feeling that I’d just eaten at the happiest intersection between Penang and paradise. The place hums with charm — part café, part time machine, and wholly delightful. The combination hor fun was so good I briefly considered proposing to it, and the char kway teow had more personality than most dinner parties I’ve attended. It’s smoky, saucy, and slightly indecent — just the way noodles should be. But the real star of the show — the prima donna of the dessert world — is the sago pudding. It arrived modestly, glistening like a diplomat’s handshake, and tasted like summer got a postgraduate degree in comfort. The service? Impeccable. The kind of warmth that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a relative’s kitchen — the one who actually likes you. Danny’s Kopitiam isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an argument for joy. And like all great arguments, I left full, happy, and entirely convinced.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! once you’ve eaten once you’ll definitely go back for more :) The food honestly is pretty good, and the portion sizes are amazing for the price—make sure to eat it when it’s fresh though (Meal for One & Potato Cakes) The owners here are very nice too! It’s a great, quick local spot for food

We had lunch here and ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice, Combination Steaks on Rice with Gravy, Satay Beef with Instant Noodles, and the Pineapple Bun. Everything was delicious! The complimentary soup was really tasty as well. Portions are big, prices are great, food came out fast, the place is clean, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend — will definitely come back!

Absolutely love this place! Been a family favourite of ours for what feels like a lifetime. The Jade Pavilion is a gem in Ferntree Gully. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, full of flavour, and all made on site. A family-run business, the service is warm and welcoming every time. Highly recommend the prawn toast, spring rolls and the jade combination in birds nest. A great local spot for quality Chinese food!
