house-khong

quote Place is dated but most Chinese restaurants do feel that way purely to set the atmosphere, the meals were nice but not fantastic Curry puffs - full of flavour these were actually nice, crispy and when you bite into them they were full of flavour. Steam dim sim’s - actually really good Special fried rice - wouldn’t say it was very special and didn’t really seem fried Pepper steak and veg - the flavours were there but steak was cut pretty small and there really wasn’t a great deal of veg at all. Service was nice the lady is lovely that served us.

quote Good fish and chips here. On the way home we decided to call into the McIvor Road Fish and Chip shop. Although there was only a few of us in the shop we could tell that they must do a lot of phone orders as the deep fryers were working overtime. We ordered the stock standard fish and chips with potato cakes to takeaway. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the order was filled fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Although there are a few metal seats outside, no tables, this is a predominately takeaway store. Worth considering if you are after a feed of fish and chips.

sallys-pizza

quote The pizza was ok. Definitely can't complain about the pizza for the price. It's not a cardboard base like you get from dominos/eagleboys. Good amount of toppings. Ok quality ingredients. Only took 15mins to make. (On a Wednesday night) The let down was the garlic bread. They advertise a gourmet a sounding garlic bread with "Italian style butter and Parmesan cooked in a wood fire. When in fact the just give you a generic mass produced garlic bread and charge you $7 for it! I'll be back but won't be ordering the rip off garlic bread.

quote The restaurant was welcoming when we walked in. The inside feels authentic and is very nice. The food came out promptly, and all dishes were very tasty. Prices were satisfactory, but serving sizes could have been larger, especially for the large steamed rice. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.

quote I had dinner from here a night ago. We ordered a Hawaiian and a supreme. The nice young person said the pizzas would be ready within 20 minutes, and they were patient when I dropped the coins (oops). We waited in the shop, and while you wait, you can see the kitchen, and it needs an upgrade and even a clean up. It was very noisy and they yelled at each other while they cooked and it gave ne a headache, and it was boring because there was nothing to look at while you waited. But if that's the price to lay for the pizzas, then I'll gladly do 28 of those. The pizzas are always fresh, hot, and almost never greasy. I love Hawaiian and Supreme and usually get those with my family and they both has just the right amount of ingredients. This is now my go to pizza store ❤️
