My Khmer wife and I decided to try Lemongrass Restaurant after noticing how busy and popular it looked—and we’re glad we did! The restaurant is small but clean, tidy, and well set up. The menu was a real standout—clear, with pictures of every dish and descriptions in both English and Khmer, which made ordering a breeze.
We each chose a lunch dish and also ordered a takeaway to enjoy later. Every dish we had was delicious, and my Cambodian wife was especially impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food—high praise indeed!
No complaints at all: great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone after genuine, tasty Cambodian cuisine.

Just had some of the best Fish and chips from this shop, they were absolutely nicely cooked, not greasy at all, very crispy and just delicious!! A real asset for this area.

Guys, we just walked into this gem of a Sri Lankan restaurant! I’ve been living in Melbourne for eight years and have never seen a place like this. We originally went to eat fried rice, but after seeing the buffet, my wife and I both ended up having rice and curry — and honestly, everything in the buffet tasted unbelievably authentic.
The person serving the food was actually the owner, and what I noticed was his genuine happiness when we finished our plates completely. It felt like he truly loves seeing people enjoy his food. It was obvious that his main intention isn’t just to earn money, but to make his customers happy. We’d really love to see him grow his business day by day!

I dropped into Danny’s Kopitiam for lunch and left with the unshakable feeling that I’d just eaten at the happiest intersection between Penang and paradise. The place hums with charm — part café, part time machine, and wholly delightful.
The combination hor fun was so good I briefly considered proposing to it, and the char kway teow had more personality than most dinner parties I’ve attended. It’s smoky, saucy, and slightly indecent — just the way noodles should be.
But the real star of the show — the prima donna of the dessert world — is the sago pudding. It arrived modestly, glistening like a diplomat’s handshake, and tasted like summer got a postgraduate degree in comfort.
The service? Impeccable. The kind of warmth that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a relative’s kitchen — the one who actually likes you.
Danny’s Kopitiam isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an argument for joy. And like all great arguments, I left full, happy, and entirely convinced.

I really enjoyed the Yellow rice with Beef rendang, Tempe vegie and Anchovy peanut. The place is simple, with friendly staffs. Price is reasonable which is around $18 per meal. I will be back and thank you!
