quote 🥢🥡🥟🍚🍜 AUTHENTIC AND AFFORDABLE CHINESE FOOD This is my wife and I’s go to Chinese restaurant in the heart of Oakleigh. The food is always delicious, it is affordable and the service is always friendly. We highly recommend coming here! Our favourites are the Shanghainese fried noodles and pan fried dumplings - always a great feed for a last minute dinner 😋

quote Delicious Indonesian food! The staff were super friendly and attentive. The portion was just ‘okay’ for the price. The quality of the ingredients was very good (prawns, chicken, noodles). Will have to visit again to try out their other dishes. 🙏🏼

quote This has been my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne since I first discovered it way back, in 1994! Over the years I brought so many friends, family, colleagues, and they all loved it! The whole experience has been the same all these years - the service, food, atmosphere all have a feel an upscale restaurant. When you add moderate pricing to that, it certainly makes it a must visit place. It is very hard to pick a favourite dish, as all food chef Narender makes is great. Still, i may mention a few. My favourite dish has been, from the beginning, chicken pakora, but I would also highly recommend: - bagare baingan (eggplant dish) - onion chili kulcha (spicy stuffed bread). I also have to mention friendly smiles of the owners Reeta and Narender Behl, which make you feel like you are visiting their home, rather than their business. Highly recommended!

quote Friendly service, boiled chicken & prawn dumplings also the CKT were good, loved the random tornado potato however the pepper beef at $27.50 was not good value given the portion size and was lacking in flavour and pepper punch.

quote Update - Oct 2023 After our usual Sunday games, one of our friends had suggested to come here for lunch. As we were here before and provided our review, this time we decided to try another food on their menu and have another verdict. Service & Ambience [3]. The place is quite packed with lunch crowd. We are lucky to have a table and quickly settle down to order. Self order at the counter and as usual for us, paying cash to avoid the surcharge. A one point, I called out to the staff to top up the pepper. Some moment passed and she didn't return but I noticed the pepper bottle is put back at the counter. Food [3]. I had the combination wan tan hor. The kuay teow (flat rice noodle) preferred to have some stirred fried before the gravy is added. Another dish, beef hor fan - the beef is hard and doesn't go well with the hor fan. A friend ordered the special of the day - salty fish with bee hoon. For the price, is too little. My friend didn't take too long to finish. Lucky he drank the free Chinese tea to fill full. Another friend ordered the char kuay teow and nothing special, he said. Ok verdict is closed. --------------------------------------- The food didn't wait long to be served. However the portion is small and not for a hungry person. Fried rice wasn't tasty, and KL Hokkien mee too sweet. Teh Tarik could be better. CKT & Hor Fun, not fussy could passed.
