Our Customer Reviews

quote Probably the most authentic Indian experience you could have in Waikato. Haven’t had better and doubt I will find many that can match the taste and authenticity. I have loved this place for years, visits are always a pleasant time. Great portion, great price and great staff. Now that I have moved away I misses this place and will revisit given the chance

quote A very good Japanese Ramen and Don shop in Launceston. Gatsu’s Ramen is very flavourful, pork slices are generous and the noodles are cooked perfectly. The Chicken Don is very good too - love their rice and teriyaki sauce. Do order the fried lotus roots too. It’s amazing that one lady was handling the order, serving and cleaning, still smiling at customers. ❤️

quote Not super familiar with Malaysian food, so I asked the staff for their personal favourites. The waiter was so friendly and put together his own “must-eat” list for us, curry fresh fish, salted fish pork belly claypot, stir-fried “Three Kings,” and oyster omelette. Honestly, even the menu photos already looked tempting, so we went all in. Every dish delivered. The curry fish was fragrant but not heavy, with tender fish. The pork belly claypot was a total rice killer. The stir-fry had great wok hei, and the oyster omelette was crispy outside and soft inside. First proper Malaysian local meal, fully converted.
