Just got take out here and was pleasantly surprised that it was given with a free tote bag and a complementary rice pudding! Best range of vegan and veg options in the area as well and wonderful variety of food! 10/10 recommend!

Literally the BEST Indian we’ve had in Melbourne!! Absolutely amazing experience! We had a table of 9 and were all blown away by the food—it was hands down some of the best and most flavourful Indian cuisine we’ve ever had.
The service was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about our dining experience. One of our guests is coeliac, and the chef personally came out to speak with us to ensure her meal was completely gluten free. That level of care and attention really stood out.
From start to finish, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this spot if you’re after delicious Indian food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

I’ve never seen such a large variety of laksa before. Ordered the crispy pork laksa, and it was delicious! I ordered the mild laksa as I wasn’t sure of the spice level, but the waiter kindly gave me a small dish of the chilli sauce so I could adjust the laksa to my taste. The waiter was very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere is great too, it is very clean, bright, and inviting. Highly recommend.

Myself and my partner ordered takeaway to pick up ourselves., Partner Ordered beef in blackbean and fried rice,he was absolutley astonished at how tender the beef was and how much there was in the gorgeous sauce, and was really impressed with the overall meal. I have eaten Chinese food in UK, Sydney, Melbourne Brisbane and am vegetarian, this salt and pepper tofu and vegetarian singapore noodles is by far the best I have EVER had, omg the tofu is to die for. So good we had order again a couple of days later. Partner chose sweet and sour pork with special fried rice, I ordered the same as before and we were absolutely overwhelmed at how good the food was again. Portion sizes are fantastic, price is incredible and this will always be our go to chinese from now on. Fresh wonderful hot food and very polite friendly and helpful staff.

Ordered spicy kimchi pork belly Bento and spicy karaage. The service was pretty fast - under ten minutes for both. The portions, as can be seen from the photos, were VERY generous. This fed two people. The prices are also reasonable, considering the portion and taste. The service from the worker was outstanding, he was very friendly. Only downside is there was no music playing so the atmosphere felt a little quiet. Will definitely be back again!

This has been my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne since I first discovered it way back, in 1994!
Over the years I brought so many friends, family, colleagues, and they all loved it!
The whole experience has been the same all these years - the service, food, atmosphere all have a feel an upscale restaurant. When you add moderate pricing to that, it certainly makes it a must visit place.
It is very hard to pick a favourite dish, as all food chef Narender makes is great. Still, i may mention a few.
My favourite dish has been, from the beginning, chicken pakora, but I would also highly recommend:
- bagare baingan (eggplant dish)
- onion chili kulcha (spicy stuffed bread).
I also have to mention friendly smiles of the owners Reeta and Narender Behl, which make you feel like you are visiting their home, rather than their business.
Highly recommended!
