During our recent visit to Albany Indian Tandoori Restaurant, we had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful vegetarian dining experience that highlighted both authenticity and quality. The Dal Makhani was the standout dish – luxuriously creamy, slow-cooked to perfection, and infused with a depth of flavors that reflected traditional North Indian preparation. It carried a subtle smokiness and a balance of spices that elevated the lentils without overpowering them. Complementing this, the Chilli Garlic Naan was freshly prepared in the tandoor, soft yet slightly crisp at the edges, with just the right kick of chilli and the aroma of roasted garlic. The Jeera Rice was light, fluffy, and fragrant with cumin, pairing harmoniously with the richness of the dal. As a starter, the Pappadum provided a crisp and savory introduction to the meal, adding a textural contrast to the dishes that followed. Service was courteous and efficient, with staff attentive to detail, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. Portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of each dish was simple yet elegant, keeping the focus on flavor. Overall, Albany Indian Tandoori Restaurant offers an excellent vegetarian selection, executed with authenticity and care. Just had a family sized meat lovers pizza that looked more like an extra large and was impressed with the price point (only $26.00) and flavour. This pizza reminds me of the good old days when pizza was about big flavour and big pizza but not so big price. I very much enjoyed the generous toppings which were bursting with flavour. The dough for me could do with some improvement however I have to say I was in no way disappointed and wanted to finish off the pizza all to my self. I recommend you give it a try specially if you’re like me and remember the old school pizzas back in the day!

I've never had a bad experience here only fresh and tasty Thai food, with fast and friendly service. Love the green curry and tamarind fish.

This was our second visit in 2 weeks. The serving staff are so friendly, especially the young lady who served us today. She was very kind and thoughtful. We ordered off the special menu - the curry combo plus the samosa and tea special. We loved that you could swap the rice for the naans as we prefer naans. The samosas were freshly cooked, nice and crispy on the outside and a flavoursome veg filling. There was a little wait for the naans as these were cooked fresh to order. They were definitely worth the wait. I have to say the garlic naan is one of the best we have tasted. The naans were fluffy and the tandoori roti had a nice crisp texture. They were perfect. All the curries were again cooked fresh. We saw the chicken tikka being put on the skewers ready to go in the tandoor. They had a lovely smokey taste and the pieces were juicy. The lamb melted in your mouth. The karahi, jalfrezi and tikka masala had lots of large pieces of veg. All had a very generous portion of chicken and lamb in. They all had different unique authentic flavours, with a choice of spice level. All were served in lovely bowls and came out piping hot. Every dish was so tasty and was full of flavour. The masa tea was huge and was a great way to finish the meal. This is such a great place to have freshly cooked home cooked meals. Staff are great and the chef's were excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant. This is now one of our favourite restaurants. We'll worth the 20 minute drive. We will definitely be back again soon.

Best Chicken momo I have tasted, very amazed with the sumptious food. They also have Buffalo dish and wild boar meat. Lamb is cook into perfection. The owner is very kind and welcoming. Ambiance will take you back to Nepal! Must visit restaurant.

I come here for food every time I get takeaway, and not once have I been disappointed. Everything is super hot and freshly cooked. My go to is the teriyaki chicken! 10/10 recommend.
