Order Food in golden-point

My second time at The Curry Star. Tried the Tandoori Meat Platter with Naan. And it was to die for! Travelled all the way from Melbourne to taste all this. Definitely a Chefs Kiss!

We ordered the Twin Pack. One of the best fish and chips my partner and I have had in a long time. The fish was so thick and literally melted in your mouth. I had the grilled fish and he had the battered — the batter was some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they use fresh oil and drain it properly, as it wasn’t oily at all. Such a pleasant surprise — we would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Recently tried on. Recommendation and really enjoyed the food except the starter i forgot the name was below average. We ordered Masala Dosa, chilli something ( forgot exact name) as starter, steam rice, vegetable noodles and butter chicken with plain and cheese naans and goli dodas. The environment was bit noisy but lively with punjsbi music. Will definitely will visit again. Recommend ✔️

We pulled up to get a last minute dinner on our trip to Melbourne & looked at the reviews after we had already sat down. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was delicious, though the restaurant was empty, I’d say they had a decent 5-6 uber takeaway orders in the first 10 minutes we were there. I haven’t had imperial beef (rainbow beef) in nearly 12 years & I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken was succulent & the prawns were decent in number. For someone who also doesn’t cope well in loud environments, it was a really nice & relaxed atmosphere. Hats off to the chef, who not only made a lovely meal, was really kind & respectful to his staff. Give this place a try!

Thank you for one of the best ‘traditional wood fire pizza 🍕 experience’. Laura shared her knowledge and experience to assist me in my selection (lots to choose from). With gluten free options and the choice of 1/2 and 1/2, my pizza was simply awesome. The beer garden on a miserable day (listening to the rain hitting the tin roof) made the experience memorable. I recently visited Tandoor Indian Restaurant in Ballarat while on holiday from Perth, and I was honestly blown away. The food was beyond amazing , every food item was full of flavour and beautifully prepared. Everything we tried was fantastic, but the rabdi with gulab jamun was on another level. Absolutely delicious and the perfect way to finish the meal! The customer service was also excellent really warm and welcoming. It made our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Ballarat and craving authentic Indian food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
