Pasta

Pasta is a type of food typically made from an unleavened dough of wheat flour mixed with water or eggs, and formed into sheets or other shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking. Rice flour, or legumes such as beans or lentils, are sometimes used in place of wheat flour to yield a different taste and texture, or as a gluten-free alternative. Pasta is a staple food of Italian cuisine.

quote The food was absolutely amazing however it took for the service team to serve a long time- waited approx an hour but except that everything is good. Fried rice is so good as well as red curry and duck meat. πŸ›πŸ₯—πŸ

quote This was our second visit in 2 weeks. The serving staff are so friendly, especially the young lady who served us today. She was very kind and thoughtful. We ordered off the special menu - the curry combo plus the samosa and tea special. We loved that you could swap the rice for the naans as we prefer naans. The samosas were freshly cooked, nice and crispy on the outside and a flavoursome veg filling. There was a little wait for the naans as these were cooked fresh to order. They were definitely worth the wait. I have to say the garlic naan is one of the best we have tasted. The naans were fluffy and the tandoori roti had a nice crisp texture. They were perfect. All the curries were again cooked fresh. We saw the chicken tikka being put on the skewers ready to go in the tandoor. They had a lovely smokey taste and the pieces were juicy. The lamb melted in your mouth. The karahi, jalfrezi and tikka masala had lots of large pieces of veg. All had a very generous portion of chicken and lamb in. They all had different unique authentic flavours, with a choice of spice level. All were served in lovely bowls and came out piping hot. Every dish was so tasty and was full of flavour. The masa tea was huge and was a great way to finish the meal. This is such a great place to have freshly cooked home cooked meals. Staff are great and the chef's were excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant. This is now one of our favourite restaurants. We'll worth the 20 minute drive. We will definitely be back again soon.

quote Went here after being first told about Hot Rock Pizza some 10 or so years ago, when my best friend (who passed in 2020) was a frequent visitor. I can see why he loved it - my pepperoni pizza had a crisp base, lots of flavour and a good tomato sauce. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd be greeted like Norm was on Cheers. Will have to try one of your gourmet/specialist range next time. Recommended if you're in the area and love a good pizza!

quote Absolutely wonderful restaurant! I went with my family to celebrate one of their birthdays yesterday. We arrived at 8.50pm (after playing some local bowling) and the restaurant looked relatively packed up, however the staff were enthusiastic to greet us, and we were told the kitchen was open till 9.30pm. The staff were polite and had a good laugh with us. All our curries were served within 15 minutes, which we were impressed by (we were the only table there to be fair). What really made our night was the staff heard us speaking about the birthday, so they surprised us with a happy birthday music celebration and some delicious toffees and icecream on the house. Such a kind gesture which really made the evening so special, we'll definitely be visiting again.
