quote Gabbies Pizza is absolutely delicious. The staff there is super friendly and awesome to talk to. The Cabonara and Pizza was very tasty and even the selection of drinks is very different to other stores. Will definitely visit again!

quote Such a hidden gem! Proper Iraqi flavours, generous portions, and a fantastic vibe. The drinks menu is great and the shisha quality is on point. Perfect place to catch up with mates and enjoy a relaxed Arabic atmosphere. Highly recommend

cons-fish-and-chips

quote Tried this place because our previous favourite place Hoffmans Road Fish and Chip is still closed. The hamburger tasted the same as Hoffmans; the way Aussie Burgers meant to be before the Americans ruined it. Fisherman's Basket was fried to perfection and with fresh oil. Credit / Visa / EFTPOS Cards available with no surcharges.

fat-wraps-and-wings

quote I believe I’ve been reviewing way too many kebab shops, but hey my mind and tummy are both happy. Fat wraps and wings was another delight of a shop with happy friendly staff and tasty food. We got their wraps and HSP between three people and it was proper filling, they don’t skim on quantity or quality. We are very happy to have walked into this random shop and get such a great experience. The chips are worth a special mention, golden crispy and fried to perfection. They don’t use oil that went off either. Looked and tasted fresh. Similar thoughts on lamb wrap as well, fresh and tasty. Shout out to the amazing staff, so happy and friendly, they are the best. We also saw they have a pizza box challenge, basically a HSP but in a pizza box, love to come try one day.

jalan-alor-franklin-street

quote Amazing value for Malaysian food in CBD! If you’re looking for cheap eats, this is the place to go. There’s a good selection of dishes at just $10 with other options going up to $25. Hainanese chicken rice was quite tasty with a decent portion of chicken, although we did feel some plates had more than another (we ordered 3 serves of it). Chicken chop with egg noodles had a generous serve of meat and noodles, good flavour too. Chee cheung fun with sweet sauce had enough sauce and tasted great! Mostly cheung fun though, compared to fish ball and fish skin. Sarawak konlomee was a bit dry with not enough sauce, making the noodles white (when they should be brown in colour due to sauce) and bit tasteless. Restaurant is on the smaller end so it really is just for eating and go, turnaround is quick due to popularity. It gets quite busy during peak lunch and dinner times so be prepared to wait for a table.
