Deepavali festival lunch at Sizzle and Sambar — OMG, every dish outdid the one before it! 😍 The flavours, the vibe, the feast… absolutely next-level! I’m 100% flying back from Brisbane to Perth next year just for this lunch. Totally worth the miles (and the food coma)! ✈️🍛🔥

The food here is absolutely fantastic—truly the best dosa I've ever had! It was served hot, fresh, and bursting with amazing flavors.
As an appetizer, we tried the Bondai, which was also delightful.
I must say, the service is impressively fast. Our meals arrived in just 5 to 10 minutes.
We ordered a lot, but I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with both the food and the service.
I can't recommend this place enough!

Madras chicken briyani was delicious! Chicken Kothu parotta was good! Service was good! Hotel atmosphere feels like a Hotel in Tamilnadu , India!
PS: I felt like biryani was reheated !

Sorry I’ve been trying to update my first review since I think I didn’t do this place justice.
My wife discovered this little place, and the food is GOOD!!! The service is GOOD!!! The manager and owner is AMAZING. I’m not Indian, I’m Italian as the name is a giveaway so I am no expert in Indian food, but I am a well seasoned chef with 21 years under my belt, worked in both pubs and fine dining fairly famous restaurants too in Perth… I can tell you that the food is fresh, the meats aren’t frozen, the flavours are very well balanced, and I like sipcy, like REALLY spicy and I find the heat level is very nice and the wait is very very reasonable and the prices are EXTREMELY REASONABLE in today’s economy tonight there were 5 adults and 1 child and roughly we spent $44 per head not counting the child, that is 5 mains, 6 sides, 4 drinks and 6 desserts, my daughter had the desert and drinks, so yes the quality for the money is really good considering we also manage to have some takeaway. I feel horrible for them after reading some of the 1 star reviews made on here, as a chef, as a person of the industry I cannot emphasise how hard it is to provide good quality food, especially ethnic food outside the country of origins, especially to people who don’t cook on a commercial scale, and have very little understanding of what running a restaurant and kitchen is like. I absolutely love this place, it is probably one of my favourite restaurants, and tonight the young lady running the place was very friendly. So my reviews stays the same, my defensive rant is over.
Please try this place.

We just attended the best long table lavish lunch hosted by the owner Gowri and her fabulous staff- as part of a traditional Deepavali celebration. Just like coming home, beautiful hospitality, ambience, authentic and lip smacking good!!!
They even allowed seconds ,not that I needed another helping after the more than generous servings 😀
Saw a glimpse of our beautiful diverse Australia, patrons of all ages and colour soaking the beautiful vibes in ...how proud should we all be of this family owned hard working business, such an asset ...
Lucky us, not sure if they even made a profit today, felt more like a service for the local community! Wishing them continuing success for decades to come!👏🏾❤️
