My Khmer wife and I decided to try Lemongrass Restaurant after noticing how busy and popular it looked—and we’re glad we did! The restaurant is small but clean, tidy, and well set up. The menu was a real standout—clear, with pictures of every dish and descriptions in both English and Khmer, which made ordering a breeze. We each chose a lunch dish and also ordered a takeaway to enjoy later. Every dish we had was delicious, and my Cambodian wife was especially impressed by the quality and authenticity of the food—high praise indeed! No complaints at all: great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone after genuine, tasty Cambodian cuisine.

As a regular customer, I can confidently say this place never misses! Every dish I choose is consistently delicious, full of authentic Vietnamese flavour, and cooked to perfection. From the pho to the rice paper rolls, every bite feels like a trip to Vietnam. The staff are friendly and the service is always warm and welcoming. A must visit spot in Carnegie for anyone craving genuine, mouth watering Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommended🤩

Just got take out here and was pleasantly surprised that it was given with a free tote bag and a complementary rice pudding! Best range of vegan and veg options in the area as well and wonderful variety of food! 10/10 recommend!

Our favourite local BBQ. This place is fantastic for a local, reasonably affordable place. Tried a few dishes but their roast duck and roast pork is definitely pretty damn good for a local place. Highly recommend, but beware the wait times, they can stretch out to quite a while at peak times.

Consistently good coffee. Everything here is made by the owner, and is very fresh. Even the bread is homemade, and is excellent. Has a very large and varied menu for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Don't be quick to pass this one by. Low key, and easily overlooked amongst the other food spots in this stretch of Centre Road, E Bentleigh, but definitely worth trying.

Can’t really go wrong with their $12.50 lunch deal. There’s a few menu items that come with steamed rice and a can. Their meat and veg options are good but the sweet and sour pork but was a bit on the stingy side with only 4 balls of pork which is mainly made up of batter. Would be nice if it included a couple more balls and a some veggies with it. Otherwise it’s fresh, tasty and affordable.
