quote Used to visit this place a lot! First visit when the price was $8.90 per dish and now $17! We went at lunch time, around 12:30pm and the place was quiet, only 2-3 other tables occupied. Greeted by a friendly lady, not the usual face though. She took the order & completed transaction - paid. Reasonable cooking time, decent portion. But the taste.. there’s something missing! We had the kolo mee (used to be wow so good), Laksa (tasted curry powder), house special fried rice (a bit tasteless) & nasi lemak. It was definitely not as good as the old time. Maybe it has changed owner. Will I come back? Maybe - but it won’t be the first choice.

hong-kong-bbq-house

quote A good place for some simple authentic Cantonese dishes. The look, taste and portion is very much what is expected. Service is reasonable. The restaurant looks a little dated but roomy and comfortable. A great place to have some good food and skip all the fancy stuff.

nazar-kebab

quote My mates and i have been going here for a solid 3 years now. Every time one of us mentions getting a Kebab or meat box for dinner this is our go to spot, literally would not go anywhere else. Yea to be honest it is more expensive than majority of other kebab shops but i don't mind paying extra for a rockin feed these lads cook up. The service is quick as, food is bangin and plenty of room to sit outside n eat. Can’t fault the joint honestly. All these food connoisseurs giving 1 stars expect these blokes to re-invent the wheel with some mind boggling galactic alien kebab that will blow ur head off. These lads keep it simple and bloody tasty. I’m a customer for life👍

okay-restaurant

quote We ordered raw beef pho $17 and Bun Bo Hue, $19. The kitchen kindly agreed to serve the BBH with raw beef meat only. The broth was okay but I've had better. It lacked depth and oomph. Might have benefited from more shrimp paste and lemongrass but still enjoyable. The noodles were shredded. Not sure if that's the kitchen's style. My daughter rated her raw beef pho a solid 7.5. Warm service.

quote I loved this place but it has really declined with the food my favourite is beef and black bean and they use to have water chestnuts in it and I love water chestnuts and they now use dehydrated mushrooms and they should use fresh vegetables at all times not dehydrated mushrooms they are yuck 🤮but they do have fresh broccoli which is good but maybe you could start with water chestnuts as people love that crunch just some advice from other Chinese restaurants that I have been to and they have the best beef and black bean one of the photos below is the dehydrated mushrooms and they are disgusting

hugos-pizza

quote I had ham & pineapple on thin base, and the chicken pizza on normal base. The normal base was a little soggy. My preference only too much ham on the ham & pineapple- would of liked more pineapple and on the chicken -there was way too much green capsicum it was over taking the taste of the rest of ingredients. But the pizzas are nice. Plenty of ingredients and cheese. Not too greasy. I had delivery. Would I order again probably yes.
