Walked to this sushi shop and ordered Asaka Bento Lunch Special ($18.50). The combo includes teriyaki chicken, 2 pieces of fried chicken, 1 piece of fried fish and one fried prawn. Love the salad with mayonnaise dressing and the crunchy yellow pickles. Worth the money. Delicious food with affordable price! Will come back again.

A friend and I both ordered the chicken katsudon today for lunch. I was satisfied to finally get a good katsudon, as I had been craving one for a while!
The portion was generous, compared to other places I've been to that charge the same. By that I mean, decent amount of protein as well as rice, and not just lots of rice. Meals were $15ea including soup.
The egg also wasn't overcooked and dry as some other places serve it. The rice was tasty too!
The time taken to get the meal from the time we ordered was also very reasonable, especially considering that it was peak lunch time and there were both people queueing to order and people who had just ordered and were waiting outside for their food. Tables inside were probably at 90% capacity.
I'd come back for sure. Keen to try all the other things on the menu now!
p.s., I also love they sell pieces of katsu and other fried goods! Ever felt like being a bit cheeky, but not ordering a whole bowl of chicken karaage? (Yep!! You know it!)
