asian-golden-wok

quote We stepped in for the first time, after a friend of our family recommended this place. We are very delighted and all are in happy faces after the meal. I personally will vouch for the Laksa, equally flavoured with correct spices and hot. At last a place to get and eat Laksa. Char Koay Toew or Fried Koay Teow is another dish that tasted so good. The smell itself proved that it's Char Koay Teow. Worth the money, amount of food served is so much compared to so many other places charging more with less amount. Chinese Tea , perfecto!

bootoo

quote One of the best chai lattes I've had in Perth. Beautiful foamy texture throughout each sip. Taste was great with a bite of cinnamon throughout , not just with the first few sips at the top, actually mixed in. Size was fantastic too for the price, probably the best I can recall in WA - pictured is a regular. Had a spinach and ricotta roll too for $11. Personally price was a bit steep and the taste wasn't standout, but still ok, maybe 7/10.

quote When I go to Wembley food court I usually head straight to Saigon Express for some pho but today I decided to to give these guys a go. There's a Bain Marie of suburban Chinese classics but also a menu of cooked to order dishes. I went for the pork and pickled bean, rice noodle soup and was pleasantly surprised. It was very tasty and I would definitely order it again.

carine-thai-cuisine

quote After the restaurant's recent renovation, we were eager to try the new Thai menu that has replaced the long-standing Italian offering. The space is now bright and open, and the atmosphere felt inviting. The menu offers a thoughtful selection of dishes, with portion sizes that are just right. While the prices are on the higher side for a casual neighbourhood spot, there are some highlights. The Thai fish cakes were enjoyable, though the spring rolls could have used a bit more flavour. The massaman curry was rich in coconut, though the meat varied in texture—some pieces were tender, others tougher. The pad Thai (chicken) was satisfying, though it didn’t particularly stand out. One thing to note is that the space can get a bit noisy due to the many hard surfaces, and with the bright lighting, it might not be the most intimate setting for a quiet dinner. Overall, it’s a nice option if you’re in Carine and in the mood for Thai cuisine. While it may not transport you to the streets of Bangkok, it offers a pleasant dining experience.

fat-fish-ramen

quote Great little 'miso' ramen , (not tonkotsu guys) restaurant set in empire village shops Citybeach. The service was warm and friendly. The miso ramen was a strong flavoured soup with lots of topping options, loved the cha shu and their own chilli oil topping.

quote This is an immaculate Chinese restaurant found in North Perth serving a very wide range of dishes! We ordered a big range and all the food was the perfect balance of salt, flavour and sauce. The favourites here was the duck and taking us by surprise, the sweet corn fish! Service was on point, the staff had a fun and light attitude and was easy to get along. They even helped us choose the number of dishes for a large group and ensure we had a variety of meats and seafood. Although we were seated near the kitchen - ventilation was great. Plenty of fans situated around the table which wasn’t loud and provided a great atmosphere to dine in! A must try if you’re looking for some delicious Chinese food!
