asaka-sushi

quote The chicken katsu was crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The egg was soft and slightly runny, coating the rice and chicken beautifully without overpowering the flavour. Portion was generous, and the sauce tied everything together with a nice savoury touch. Would definitely order again when I’m craving comfort food :D

quote Used to visit this place a lot! First visit when the price was $8.90 per dish and now $17! We went at lunch time, around 12:30pm and the place was quiet, only 2-3 other tables occupied. Greeted by a friendly lady, not the usual face though. She took the order & completed transaction - paid. Reasonable cooking time, decent portion. But the taste.. there’s something missing! We had the kolo mee (used to be wow so good), Laksa (tasted curry powder), house special fried rice (a bit tasteless) & nasi lemak. It was definitely not as good as the old time. Maybe it has changed owner. Will I come back? Maybe - but it won’t be the first choice.

hermanos-en-cantina

quote Ordered the chicken jerk salad. Taste was nice enough. They were helpful in removing dairy items from my daughters tacos which was great. No bottled water available to purchase which we found weird. The thing that surprised me was the uber orders they were preparing, which were just left sitting on the counter until drivers arrived. I would think they should be kept under a warmer or in a cool room depending what is in them. Some drivers took awhile to arrive and the day we were there it was 41 degrees. No food should be left sitting in a bag on the counter. The service was quick though.

okay-restaurant

quote We ordered raw beef pho $17 and Bun Bo Hue, $19. The kitchen kindly agreed to serve the BBH with raw beef meat only. The broth was okay but I've had better. It lacked depth and oomph. Might have benefited from more shrimp paste and lemongrass but still enjoyable. The noodles were shredded. Not sure if that's the kitchen's style. My daughter rated her raw beef pho a solid 7.5. Warm service.

hugos-pizza

quote I had ham & pineapple on thin base, and the chicken pizza on normal base. The normal base was a little soggy. My preference only too much ham on the ham & pineapple- would of liked more pineapple and on the chicken -there was way too much green capsicum it was over taking the taste of the rest of ingredients. But the pizzas are nice. Plenty of ingredients and cheese. Not too greasy. I had delivery. Would I order again probably yes.

quote We had a really great experience. The food was absolutely spot on in terms of flavour, seasoning and freshness. Every dish was well balanced and generously portioned. The fish tikka in particular was really lovely, perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavour. The pricing felt reasonable for the quality and quantity served. You definitely get good value for what you pay. Overall, we truly enjoyed the meal and the experience, and we would happily come back again. Highly recommended.
