I usually order on Uber from them and it's ALWAYS on point. Delicious, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. Yum cha whenever I want? Absolutely yes and thank you. I live nearby so my friend and I walked over to eat in house and I was unsurprised to find that the owners (who work there) were LOVELY humans with kids who are so polite and so sweet. This place genuinely makes me happy. The Prawn rolls are easily the best thing, the fried rice is the best I've ever had (and I don't eat rice much if ever) - it's delicious.

Randomly found this hidden gem, cheap eats and family friendly. Food is amazing and so worth the price. Prices are so damn good too!! Definitely worth coming back. If you’re on a budget for food eateries. Prices are below $20.

After an afternoon of shopping in Melbourne CBD, we walked over to this spot for dinner. With 11 of us, we had to split across a few tables. Ordering was done via the store’s QR code—place the order, confirm it, show the confirmation to staff, then make payment. It was a little troublesome, but it’s understandable as the system likely helps the restaurant save on labour costs. We tried a wide variety of dishes including Sarawak laksa, white curry mee, fish head curry mee, chicken rice, char kway teow and more. Despite the crowd, food service was quick and efficient. Most importantly, the food was delicious and tasted authentically done. Again we forgot to take pictures of our food before eating. Considering the quality and portion sizes, the prices were very reasonable—definitely more economical compared to similar places back home. Overall, a satisfying and worthwhile dining experience.

The food at La Chanh is very tasty, and I love that they offer great vegan and vegetarian options. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The place is clean and quiet, so it’s easy to have a conversation and enjoy your meal comfortably. Highly recommended!

Returning to this restaurant after more than 10 years, the same tasty dishes and friendly owners make me feel at home. This place will be my canteen for lunch 4 days a week.
