Uyghur

Xinjiang cuisine reflects the cooking styles of many ethnic groups of the Xinjiang region and refers particularly to Uyghur cuisine. Signature ingredients include roasted mutton, kebabs, roasted fish and rice. Because of the Muslim population, the food is predominantly halal. A common Uyghur dish is laghman or leghmen, a noodle dish thought to have originated from the Chinese lamian.

Our Customer Reviews

quote The food was absolutely delicious, best in pricing and the service was both friendly and efficient. While the exterior may be modest, don’t let appearances deceive you—this place lets its food do all the talking. No frills needed when the quality is this good. Highly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to my next dinner here. I'll give my choice of recommendation.

quote Spookers Bar and Eatery in Hamilton is an absolute gem. The staff are friendly, professional, and provide excellent service every time. The food is always fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavour. My favourite is the Butter Chicken Pizza – a perfect blend of rich, aromatic butter chicken on a beautifully baked base. It’s unique, delicious, and never disappoints. Highly recommended for great food, warm service, and a consistently excellent experience.

quote Nice kebab. Disappointing service. Myself and 93 year old mother waited 15+ minutes to place our order as we were ignored while pre-ordered foods (yet to be collected) were prioritised. The place was empty (2.15 pm), but a few people came in to collect food. Our order of 1 x tea, 1 x black coffee and 1 x kebab arrived 25 mins later.. 35+ mins wait in a non aircon cafe is never worth it (outside temp 36c). Total cost $31.50. (1 x Combination kebab (salad only) .. 1 x mug tea with bag floating inside plus 1 mug black coffee). Not quite sure how this adds up as the Kebab is $16.50 + 50c sauce.. making the 2 x hot drinks $7 each? Good takeaway food but not a Cafe.

quote Only ever ordered uber eats, but gosh it's always incredible! Serving sizes are generous and the food is amazing! Tonight I got the spicey braised beef noodle so good can't fault it.. Green Tea with lychee also perfect! My children love the cheeseburger dumpling aswell. (we have also tried the dough sticks before so fresh and crispy) Surprised some other reviews say they're a bit pricey? I think it's very reasonable priced especially when some other places charge 25 to 30 dollars for mains. Once again I will be back and will recommend to everyone I know

quote The food was delicious but the quantity was quite disappointing for the prices. Tables, cutlery, glasses were very clean and faultless. Very chilled tap water was also a plus. The timing and sequence for the delivery of the main dishes were unsatisfactory, though. It just took too long even when the restaurant was almost empty and didn’t seem to have many take-away orders, either. Service over all was nothing special. I wouldn’t go back.
