We stumbled across this gem a couple of weeks ago while on a holiday in Hobart.
Beautiful food the flavours were superb.
Service was fabulous, owned by a lovely family.

Never been to such place where you can find good taste and good people. We ordered veggie and chicken curry which will bring me back for sure as this is the best taste i ever had in Tassie. Thanks for the delicious and yummy food and of course the best customer service.

My experience with mother India Restaurant is really good. I visited this restaurant so many times and every time I felt highly satisfied from the food and the service they provided was excellent. Last night I organised my birthday party in this restaurant and everyone praised about the food it was really awesome. I want to say it is the best Indian restaurant in Hobart. If you guys want real taste of Punjabi food please go there. Highly recommend to everyone.ππππ

Just got a nasi Goreng and it was absolutely perfect. One of, if not the best, I have ever had. Excellent portion, delicious runny egg on top, garnished perfectly. Faultless. The service was excellent, super friendly and fast. 5 stars all day. If you haven't been here you absolutely should.

A good place to try Vietnamese. The dishes take a bit long to be served. But the people working there is lovely!

Cannot speak higher of the service and the food here. Trip down for a holiday from Brisbane, and a simple message for "something special" for my partner's birthday lead to the amazing host making a lovely cake to help me make her day just that little bit more special. We both absolutely loved the food, so worth it. The location is also great. All in all, highly recommend a stop in here if you're in Hobart, whether you're a fan of Chinese or not it won't disappoint!
