Sweet corn and chicken soup had the consistency of snot and didn't have much flavour. Everything else good. Batter on the honey chicken was a bit soggy but still tasty

First of all a huge thank you to Ana, she went out of her way to make our experience extra special by giving my mom a birthday surprise π» thank you Jana (dunno if the spelling is correct) for baking the red velvet cake π»π»
As for today's dishes, we learned how to make a savoury kueh, sweet kueh, curry laksa and chili paste. Ana and Nik are very friendly and patient, professional and passionate. I appreciate their attention to details, this is a place for people who are looking to learn how to cook Malaysian cuisine with precision and still be quite chill.
The place is open aired, it was windy today, I imagine it could be hot sometimes, they provide insect repellent.
The morning market tour led by Doreen was lovely, she took us to the cooked food center upstairs for a quick breakfast then we strolled around the wet market for ingredients. Doreen was friendly and she knows the market well. Big ups to her ππΎ
Thank you Ana again and see you soon!

Saw some social media post about the $10 meal from this cafe. I ordered the laksa. The broth is delicious and the taste is quite authentic. Perhaps itβs under the $10 meal category, the ingredients are very limited, you are mainly paying for the noodles. Compared with another cafe in the Eastern suburb where they have similar $10 meal, the portion from the other shop seems to be more balanced. If you want some cheap meal at $10, you can come and try.

We ordered a chicken Pad Thai for $19 and we thought it was gonna be a normal portion but it came in really big portion! Needed 2 people to finish it!
Tasted really good. Should open in the city!

Delicious Vietnamese for good value from a long time customer. The lady taking orders does have trouble understanding English, I clearly said Char Kway Teow with beef twice. The order I received was Sliced beef pho, I was happy to eat it not to waste food. I wouldn't be happy lady if it happens again.
