Jacks Charcoal Chicken

Did a large catering order for Charcoal chicken and chips. Chicken was great, cooked fries and cut up to our liking. The service was great! Would definitely recommend and be ordering again

Ordered through uber eats for charcoal pack (1/2 chicken, chips & salad - I chose seafood salad), and side of roast potato. It came still warm, loved my food still warm/hot 😊 Chicken is tender and flavourful, good portion of chips with plenty of chicken salt. Seafood salad mostly just crab sticks, although on the picture seems like there’s some shrimps too but only got the surimi crab on it - oh well, luckily I like surimi so it’s alright. Roast potato was yum and slightly seasoned on one end. i notice the pricing is pretty marked up in uber, more than usual.. so maybe if it’s not too far from you.. just grab it directly at the store, you can get more bang for your bucks 😁

I have to say, I was genuinely surprised by both the quality of the food and the portion sizes—especially for the price I paid. It’s rare to stumble across little gems like this in Melbourne anymore, and I’m so glad I found one. I love charcoal chicken, and this spot absolutely hit the mark. Still some magic left in the small places!

W.O.W. Definitely coming back to this place for charcoal chicken next time I visit. Crisp and succulent with a larger-than-life serving of chips. A -must- visit next time you're around Avondale Heights!

Very generously seasoned chicken and stuffing. Even on the spit the owner continues to season the chicken. Full of flavour unlike other spots who only season on a surface level. Also very accommodating when requesting for certain cuts of the chicken and extra stuffing. Thank you.
