I got the chicken teriyaki noodle.. SO delicious! And quality lean meat too. Such a peaceful, airconditioned eating area too. Love it.

What a surprise to find a true taste of Hong Kong out in Beechboro—complete with BBQ roasts. We dropped in for a casual Sunday lunch and were impressed to see that, even during our short visit, the restaurant had drawn in a steady stream of local Asian diners—a quiet but strong reflection of just how genuine the food is here at Ning Kwong, translated as Tranquil River Chinese Restaurant. We ordered a spread of Cantonese classics and were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions and that unmistakable hit of wok hei (!)—the chef is definitely not messing around. The sizzling tofu and salted egg prawns were absolute standouts, while the char siu and roast pork held their own against the best you’d find anywhere in Perth. Service was attentive and quick—we were well looked after from the moment we were seated to the thoughtful offer of takeaway boxes for our leftovers (next day’s lunch, sorted). It’s heartening to see such a genuine and traditional experience holding up so well in this part of Perth.

If you are looking for a local restaurant to support, this is the one! Poppy G’s has become our local go too, when we are looking for a lazy dinner. The food is absolutely delicious and made fresh. The restaurant is run/owned by a lovely Filipino family, who make you feel more than welcomed when you are there. The wedges and chips are always fresh and served hot. The burgers are cooked well and are of decent size, value for money. This has become our local go too for burgers and we visit at least once a month.

We visited The Lounge on James after high recommendations for the steak sandwich. While my specific panini was unfortunately a little soggy, everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their food, with the chicken burger getting great reviews. ​The standout feature here is the delicious coffee and excellent desserts. ​We're definitely planning to return for breakfast, as the menu looks fantastic. It's worth a visit, even if only for the coffee!

Went to this place for dinner with the family. It does mainly takeaway business. They do not have cutlery so if you do eat there's we did, then you use the takeaway stuff. Prices good and food was tasty so no complaints. We got: Spicy Salt and Pepper Pork Chicken Fried Rice Seafood Kuay Teow (flat noodles) There was a very generous serving of pork. Service speedy

One of my favourite burgers i’ve had in a long time. It was the burger of the month and it didn’t disappoint at all. I will definitely go back for the food. Service wasn’t bad, though maybe the staff were a bit shy
