I had take away so atmosphere doesn’t apply. Food was excellent. When I paid for it I thought maybe expensive but I had enough for three days . The containers were huge. Twice as big as normal. Will go there again. Also sauce on the side so nothing went soggy. Will go there again.
Very polite young man serving.

Sooooo delicious!! We went to Clarkson Chinese Takeaway as our usual Chinese was closed for the Easter break. It was a bit further for us, but we won't be going back to our usual Chinese after eating from Clarkson!! We were so impressed. There wasn't a long wait, the food was fresh and super tasty. The price is expensive, but on par with all other take aways, so not an issue as such. Plus, the portions were decent sizes, so we had plenty of leftovers for tomorrow!! The lemon chicken was so tasty, the batter was not thick or greasy and the chicken was so fresh. The chicken chow mein was also lovely. The veg was fresh and there were generous amounts of chicken and veg. The Malaysian chicken curry was amazing!! Quite spicy, but the chicken was soooo soft and full of flavour. And again a generous portion. We also had boiled rice and egg fried rice and both were delicious. We've found a new favourite!!

We’ve tried some other dishes on that place but so far we believe they’re making the best Singapore noodles that will feed a family easy. Super fast + well priced 😊

Quick service. The food was so good and the lemon chicken was divine. The best I've ever had. Servings were a really good size so we had leftovers to bring home.
Definitely good value for money.

This is an edited review. Usually a solid 5/5, they've been our go-to on several occasions, but on Monday 6th November 2023 they were seriously disappointing - our order included fried dim sims but I think they substituted steamed without asking us, and the overall quality of the food was noticeably lacking. We'll be going elsewhere next time.

This is our local and there have been a couple of times previously, that we weren't impressed with the food. However, they were closer to the time when they first took over the old restaurant. Since then, we have always been very happy with the food. It's nothing fancy. Standard westernised fare.
I will add though, as with most things in our lives at the moment, the prices of everything have gone up to a price that makes it no longer a viable option for a comparable choice to other take aways that are fried foods and burgers. We got dinner from here last week and it was really good. Probably the best we'd had from there ever. We are a family of four, we got two dishes, fried rice and spring rolls and it was a bit over 80 dollars. And they offered prawn crackers-but they weren't free. I think anything over fifty dollars should be given a bag of free prawn crackers personally and up until that exchange, I've not come across being charged for them before. So we probably won't be going back for quite some time. Maybe a special occasion. Prohibitively expensive.
