We visited Bombay Club for the first time, and I have to say—it completely exceeded my expectations! The food was absolutely incredible. The fish was honestly the best I have ever tasted, cooked to perfection with beautiful flavours. The tikki and tandoori platter was another standout—so delicious and full of authentic taste.
I’m a very good Indian cook myself, so I’m usually quite particular about flavours, but the food here was truly fulfilling and comforting. Every dish felt like it was made with care, passion, and genuine love for Indian cuisine. It was such a happy, satisfying meal.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick. I’m so glad my daughter recommended this place to me—what a wonderful experience!
Highly recommend Bombay Club to anyone wanting amazing Indian food. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Tasty fish and chips. The owner is consistently friendly. Great selection of gluten free options. They're careful with cross contamination. The portions are generous. The quality is the same and the menu hasn't changed although it's under new management. The gluten free potato cake is the best I've had. It's big and full of potato. Parking is easy to find.

I dropped into Danny’s Kopitiam for lunch and left with the unshakable feeling that I’d just eaten at the happiest intersection between Penang and paradise. The place hums with charm; part café, part time machine, and wholly delightful.
The combination hor fun was so good I briefly considered proposing to it, and the char kway teow had more personality than most dinner parties I’ve attended. It’s smoky, saucy, and slightly indecent, just the way noodles should be.
But the real star of the show )the prima donna of the dessert world) is the sago pudding. It arrived modestly, glistening like a diplomat’s handshake, and tasted like summer got a postgraduate degree in comfort.
The service? Impeccable. The kind of warmth that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a relative’s kitchen, the one who actually likes you.
Danny’s Kopitiam isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an argument for joy. And like all great arguments, I left full, happy, and entirely convinced.

I really enjoyed the Yellow rice with Beef rendang, Tempe vegie and Anchovy peanut. The place is simple, with friendly staffs. Price is reasonable which is around $18 per meal. I will be back and thank you!

Homey hidden gem spot in a parking lot. The menu includes popular dishes and some deep cuts. We ordered catfish laab, green curry & rice lunch special, and sago dumplings. I initially wanted to order jaew mak len but they didn’t do it anymore because it’s not as popular and they want to keep everything fresh. The kind lady who served us then gave me jaew bong to try for free! I ended up liking it so much that I bought a mini serving home. The hospitality here is top-notch and we’ll definitely come back😊
