Instagram advertising sent me here, I asked if more vegetables were coming out and the lovely lady let me know it would be about half an hour — zero stress, came back, wasn’t disappointed at all. Veggies were amazing, so was the cheesy broccoli and roast lemon potatoes. If you’re looking for a good home cooked meal with flavour and don’t have the energy— head here. Chunky Chook makes some of the best crunchy fried chicken in the West! Reminds me of other chicken places in town, but closer to home (and just as good, if not better!). Their chicken is really juicy and tender, with a really crisp battered crust. I do enjoy the flavours they bring to both the chicken patties (especially their spicy chicken burger) and the chips. Subtle but noticeable. Always a great choice for lunch or dinner, and the amazing team there make it worthwhile.

Loved the nibbles we got! Such good prices too! I had the fries, personally not a thick frie guy, more of a shoe string but other than the fries everything was so tasty, Fresh and that crunchy skin! 😱😍

Excellent little place to get kebabs, wraps and their Chookz🐓. Staff is very friendly, service is sharp. I have tried variety of things from here and always had a good experience. Kids like it too. My favourite is the Falafel wrap. I have spent 35years in middle east and this is the closest it comes to that taste here in Brisbane. Just add Tabouli and chips in the wrap. You can ask for chilli sauce 🌶 you like it spicy but be careful, it's really spicy 😀 May be they can extend their hours, specially on weekends.
