8-asian-food-dumpling

quote Sweet corn and chicken soup had the consistency of snot and didn't have much flavour. Everything else good. Batter on the honey chicken was a bit soggy but still tasty

asaka-sushi

quote Walked to this sushi shop and ordered Asaka Bento Lunch Special ($18.50). The combo includes teriyaki chicken, 2 pieces of fried chicken, 1 piece of fried fish and one fried prawn. Love the salad with mayonnaise dressing and the crunchy yellow pickles. Worth the money. Delicious food with affordable price! Will come back again.

quote Perfect for a rainy day in Adelaide It would be nice to go here. You can enjoy very hot rice noodles that are truly delicious. There are many other menu items, but the rice noodles are very delicious.

hermanos-en-cantina

quote We love this place as a family, Hermanos En Cantina or pseudonym Curious George. The atmosphere is perfect casual, Mex Tex (in that order) and heaps of fun, happily melding the Friday night young crowd with the pre or post show set, families, and regulars. Food suits all palates. You can't beat the punchy, fresh flavours and huge array of delectable tacos (Texas Red or Triple H today? Porque nos los dos!), but the brisket nachos are first place in their race. Steak cooked to perfection, chips in Perth's top five (start the debate - list needed!). Great value food and bevs, so there's always a couple of margaritas and tap beers ordered to pair with the gluttony. Delivery orders don't get in the way of service at all unlike some places. So, yeah, we keep coming back regularly - ¡Muchisimas gracias! But I do blame our local Hermanos for turning the kids into WWE fans. Fortunately, the Junk Yard Dog appears for OG crowd.

nan-yang-cafe-derrimut

quote Cheapest Malaysian in Melbourne that I have found and tried. Fast service, double-colour toned interior, woody restaurant feel, fatty creamy spicy aroma from the food - couldn’t get any more authentic than this! $10 for classics such as Kolo Mee, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice done just like the way we had it in Malaysia. Having travelled to Penang, the quality is almost similar. Penang White Curry Mee brought me back to the one I had near Air Siam temple in Penang. Rice dishes are better than their noodles, as I found the CKT & Kolo Mee lacking flavour. Love the chicken of both the curry chicken in the NasiLemak & Hainanese Chicken Rice. Sauce is super delicious, but the fragrant rice for both dishes were surprisingly better. Definitely could do more meat for the Kolo Mee, and a bit more consistent meat would be great. Even their teh tarik was perfect! My new go-to spot for Malaysian cuisine, I don’t have to go anywhere else for this hearty harmonious flavoured meal!
