Order Food in kangaroo-flat

Had a lovely dinner after a busy weekend here. The food came out quickly, was fresh, hot, well presented, and most importantly tasted fantastic. The staff were also friendly, greeting everyone like they were a regular. Definitely a spot to visit for a fantastic meal in Bendigo.

Good fish and chips here. On the way home we decided to call into the McIvor Road Fish and Chip shop. Although there was only a few of us in the shop we could tell that they must do a lot of phone orders as the deep fryers were working overtime. We ordered the stock standard fish and chips with potato cakes to takeaway. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the order was filled fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Although there are a few metal seats outside, no tables, this is a predominately takeaway store. Worth considering if you are after a feed of fish and chips.

Finally found a spot in Bendigo that does custom orders and the taste is impressive compared to other Chinese dishes I’ve had in town. I’ve only tried a little on this first visit, but so far, so good! Definitely keen to come back and explore more of the menu.

Yum yum! I've been ordering from Sally's since 2020 when I lived just up the road. Even though I've moved it's still worth going back for. I ordered 2 gf pizzas last night and although gf is not my first preference, I have to now due to health reasons. The pizzas were great! So good. Thank you for always being so consistent. Food fantastic. Leaving a solid taste in your mouth hrs after. Fresh and filling. Service, Always polite. And meeting any needs. Delivery time ( give or take order time) 100%. Protein and belly full. 100%. Delivery drivers, always with a smile and in the time given. Mostly early! GREAT JOB TO STAFF AND COOKS!. cheers.

Update May 2025 Jin Yang Noodle Bar seems to have new owners or management (?). The restaurant has also had a bit refresh. I ordered special fried rice and some mini spring rolls and both were very tasty. I wish the friendly new team all the best. Previous review If you are after a quick, flavourful, take away, it is worth checking out in Jin Yang Noodle Bar in Mitchell Street Bendigo. This family run business provides friendly service and good value for money meals. I had the special fried rice and a couple of homemade steamed Dim Sims, the special fried rice had a mix of prawns, cha siu, egg, bean shoots, onion, peas, carrots and spring onion and I think pork. You can eat in or take away. There are even tables and chairs out the front for an outdoor dining experience. I really enjoyed my meal and will return. Well done!
