Asian

Asia, being the largest and most populous continent, is home to many cultures, many of which have their own characteristic cuisine. While rice is common to most Asian cuisines, different varieties are popular in the various regions. Glutinous rice is ingrained in the culture, religious tradition and national identity of Laos. Basmati rice is popular in the Indian subcontinent, jasmine rice is often found across Southeast Asia, while long-grain rice is popular in China and short-grain in Japan and Korea. Curry is a common dish in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia. Curry dishes have their origins in the Indian subcontinent, with present-day Northern India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan mainly using a yogurt base, while those in present-day Southern India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia generally use coconut milk as their foundation.

quote 100/100 The service we received was above and beyond. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We chose the 90-minute Chicken Buffet with the upgrade, which came to $45 per person, and we were absolutely blown away. You definitely get your money’s worth and more! We were seated very quickly and food came out very quickly, the chicken was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and every side dish we tried was delicious. Also love that it’s BYO wine! 🍷 It was definitely worth the drive out, and we’ll 100% be returning. Highly recommend!

quote Never had a takeaway so full that they couldn't put a lid on it, so that was rather amusing (and a great portion for the price!). Pork was very crispy and delicious but could have used a lot more sauce. Most places cook the meat in the sauce but this was just a drizzle. The rice given with it was fried rice so that was pretty nice

quote Unfortunately did not have the best experience, waited a long time for each meal to arrive. Each meal took about 15mins, it wasn’t a busy night but there were a couple of big families which could have caused the delay. By the time the next meal came our food became cold or we finished it because we were so hungry. Some dishes were tasty but definitely overpriced for the portion size. We ordered the sweet and sour pork regular $22 - as shown in the pictures, the bowl was bigger than the portion of food. It was tasty but so disappointing. Very deceiving!!! The spicy chicken had more chilli than chicken pieces and only skin parts. Again very small portion for the cost. The crab fried rice was $36 as you can tell from the image the bowl is deceiving. Maybe enough for 2 people. The dimsum was not as tasty as the other spots we have been too! Must say the sweet and sour was very nice. Other meals were average and pricey. Highly recommend the sweet sour and get the larger size even if it’s just 2 people. You’ll probably get about 8 good 8 good pieces with the regular 😂 Guttered we didn’t enjoy it because it’s so close to home and we’re hoping to make it our regular dimsum spot but maybe another time might be better experience?
