This is perhaps the best Perth provider of Indonesian home cooked food that you can find. It isn’t fancy, but it is popular with Indonesians who are just looking for a taste of home. There are quite a few Indonesian restaurants in Perth but this one is my wife’s new favorite place. She’s Indonesian too, by the way. Prices are good, the place is functional and tucked away just off Morley drive. The owners are friendly and portion sizes are good.

We were here again to try their other menus.
This time waiting time was considerable as there were many people. However, you could tell that they were frazzled, not enough staff by the looks of it. I can understand staff shortages with the explosion of covid infection even if its by choice due to cost. As long as its a resonable waiting time and the dish is worth waiting for.
I took 1 star off of the rating simply because my dish - the nasi campur was not that pleasant. I find the mixture of dishes on my plate do not gel well. The other menu such as nasi goreng babat was delicious, ayam geprek was still the same. Moist chicken and big portion. However, it looks rather plain on the plate.
Menu has changed slightly from three weeks ago.

We were here a day after the grand opening. Food took abt 15 mins to be served, which was decent. Husband was impressed with the ayam geprek as the fried chicken was still moist inside, and tasted great. But be warned that it was smothered with hot sambal (chilli). The nasi goreng was also delicious so was the nasi padang. The restaurant was simple looking but the food was great.
