More than your usual fish and chip shop! The shop was really nice and the service was friendly! The fish did not disappoint - the flake was delicious! It was nice to have an option of having it with brown rice and salad (which is what I chose) or chips and salad. Not many places have good fish and the option of brown rice. The pack also came with a wedge of lemon and I added the tartare sauce. Thank you Captain Cookes Fish n Chippery - really enjoyed my lunch!

I recently visited and it was fantastic! The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just how I like it. The chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was friendly and quick, making the whole experience enjoyable. The shop had a cozy atmosphere, which added to the overall charm. I highly recommend trying it out if you're in the area!

Went to Captain Cookes last night and they were CRAZY busy. Unusually, we had a bit of a wait to pick up our order, but despite a shop full of people, the young team worked cheerfully and professionally to prepare and pack food as quickly as possible. And even though they were so busy, our order was every bit as good as always, beautifully cooked, hot and delicious. Thanks, Captain Cookes, you takeaway legends!!

I am not sure as to why, when you ask for steamed dim sims and you get one steamed and one fried? (See picture below) Otherwise food was good.
