Our Customer Reviews

foo-hua

quote The music was great, very peaceful, with 2 screens for entertainment. The service was also excellent. If we had an issue they were quick to solve it. And as you can tell by the pictures the food was rather mouth watering. Highly recommend Foo Hua for your next dine in or take away experience altho I do suggest dinning in for the amazing atmosphere this place has to offer. They do have chopsticks at the counter too!

hot-rock-pizza

quote Went here after being first told about Hot Rock Pizza some 10 or so years ago, when my best friend (who passed in 2020) was a frequent visitor. I can see why he loved it - my pepperoni pizza had a crisp base, lots of flavour and a good tomato sauce. If I lived in the area, I'm sure I'd be greeted like Norm was on Cheers. Will have to try one of your gourmet/specialist range next time. Recommended if you're in the area and love a good pizza!

asian-golden-wok

quote Used to visit this place a lot! First visit when the price was $8.90 per dish and now $17! We went at lunch time, around 12:30pm and the place was quiet, only 2-3 other tables occupied. Greeted by a friendly lady, not the usual face though. She took the order & completed transaction - paid. Reasonable cooking time, decent portion. But the taste.. there’s something missing! We had the kolo mee (used to be wow so good), Laksa (tasted curry powder), house special fried rice (a bit tasteless) & nasi lemak. It was definitely not as good as the old time. Maybe it has changed owner. Will I come back? Maybe - but it won’t be the first choice.

bangkok-vibes

quote Real Thai food experience!! What we ordered: Pork jowl salad – nice crunch, not too fatty, but the sauce was a bit too pungent for me. Chicken satay – sweet, nutty, and cooked perfectly. Red duck curry – sauce was a bit runny and the duck was slightly tough, but flavour was on point. Loved the lychee and pineapple pairing in the curry Thai fried rice with prawns – most places give you 2 -3 tiny prawns… we got 6 jumbo prawns here. Really great value. Mango sticky rice – can’t recommend enough, must order! Great little local restaurant, will definitely be back.

belmont-village-fish-and-chips

quote Family has been to a lot of fish and chip shops and what this place does well is consistently good chips (crispy) and fish is great. Pineapple fritters are good, need to be more crispy though. Recommended place to eat.
