Venue: street parking. 15 minutes walks from CBD. Street food setting with simple Vietnamese photo wallpaper. Rather packed indoors. More high tables indoors and outdoors. Self-service area at the entrance. --- 6.5/10
Service: busy even not in rush hour. Read the menu on the screens. Order and pay at the cashier. Find a spot for dine in. Basic utensils (chopsticks & spoons), seasonings, and serveitte are on the table. Get the lemon wedges, chilies, and extra utensils at the self-service area. Food served fast. --- 6.6/10
Food: simple presentation. Good portion. Good prices.
- Banh Mi Crackling Pork, $10.5: already cut onto 2 half. Crispy baguette and pork. Crunchy cucumber. --- 7.5/10
- Combo Beef Pho. $17.5: served with bean sprouts that weren't dripping. Fresh Basil was already added in the bowl. The soup was clear, and the flavor wasn't heavy. Good portions of raw beef, brisket, and beef balls. Black pepper and spring onions on the top. Get the lemon and chili at the self-service area if needed. --- 8/10
No Tap water. The prices of canned drinks and bottles of water were reasonable.

Bánh mì was okay. The crackling pork wasn't crackling and there was quite a lot fat tho.
However, vegan phở is a disappointment. So lucky that my vegetarian friend tried good phở before. Otherwise, I would be embarrassed. Both smell and taste were nowhere near phở. The broth was so bland and all I could feel was cabbage flavour.

Best Vietnamese (not fancy) restaurant in Hobart.
Food is tasty and fresh, quick service and friendly staff. Good price too.
My favourite is lemongrass beef banh mi, I also recommend barbecue chicken banh mi and lemongrass beef rice paper rolls. Soooo delicious!!
