Been here many times throughout the years, and I'd say this new management is the best yet! New chef has made the tastiest meals I've ever had from this place. I highly recommend the special fried rice, char kwei teow and black bean beef as they all have seriously good chunks of meat and the noodles/rice is packed with flavour.
Service is amazing, the workers taking orders are very understanding when any special requests are made. the wait times are nearly always accurate, and they let you know if it will be a long wait before you order (which a lot of places up here don't)
This place under the new management is an amazing improvement up in the hills, can't wait to be back

For any locals who were worried about the food here, it appears to be under new management and I have to say what a relief to have a good Chinese / Malaysian place in Emerald. The special fried rice was great with decent chunks of proper bbq pork, chicken, beef and prawns. Lemon chicken was good and dumplings were much better than previous. Give these guys a second chance. Thank you woks & dumplings team for giving us a good value, great tasting family dinner. Also, appreciate you employing our local kids!

I had pad Thai, bloody delicious and the duck fried rice is my go to from now on..... finally some decent take away food for the locals....thank you chef and new management.

Very good food. Great value! Most dishes can be vegetarian although they are not on the menu. Very happy they are back in Emerald.

My partner and I were staying in an airbnb nearby. Not sure why the reviews are low, this place is great. Just the craving for fried rice and noodles that we needed. Ordered at the counter and it was ready in 5 minutes. Noodles were saucy and beef was tender, fried rice was delicious.
