I had a fantastic experience at Uncle 6 Nanyang Hawker Cuisine! The variety of authentic Nanyang and Malaysian hawker dishes really stood out — from flavourful Hainanese chicken rice to rich braised beef brisket noodles and delicious chilli pan mee. The portions were generous and the taste was truly reminiscent of traditional hawker fare. Many dishes had bold, satisfying flavours, and the sauces were perfectly balanced. Customers also love the great portion sizes and very tasty food overall. The place gets busy at peak times, which shows how popular and well-loved it is, and takeaway through delivery apps still delivers excellent quality. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving genuine Southeast Asian comfort food with great value! 🍜🍛🍗

Review is based purely on the Curry Laksa.I love curry laksa and this one could be my next fav curry laksa. What i love is the curry is thick and it has fish maw!! However, couldnt give a 5 star because as i worked my way through the dish -the fried tau pok had a "stale " taste...i am sure many would know that taste if u've eaten heaps of tau pok through life....Service was quick but i felt they were always rushing to the next customer, appreciate the free tea and condiment however hate the table seating arrangement which actually can "trap" you if you're seating on the inner table...Just too tight to pass through.

A small eatery which can be claustrophobic when full but friends have raved about the food here.
Liver soup - pretty decent but must remember to order medium cooked or liver will be rubbery. Not the best version I have tried.
Kolo Mee - every place that offers this have their interpretation so it comes down to personal preferences; nothing close to the authentic East Malaysian version in seasoning.
Chicken rice - should have ordered the original Hainanese as the roasted version is a tad dry. The rice and chilli were not outstanding either so not recommended.
May try other dishes in future visits but not rushing back as many options in this area.

had to sit outside once because tables inside were not very available at all. small establishment but oh well. still kinda burned outside from sun
got the ginger scallion chicken with noodles. very VERY flavorful and tender, i enjoyed its taste. noodles are nice but i tried with rice and it’s a lot better due to how it absorbs the flavor. the chili sauce they give is not too spicy so maybe i will add a little more next time.
i also had chili pan mee in the past, it’s definitely on the higher end of (and possibly still beyond) my spice tolerance. if you need to clear out your intestines in a rush i do recommend
most recently i dined in for the second time, and it was more proper of an experience. they have free hot soup and tea to refill! the soup is really flavorful and not too hot, whereas the tea is very hot.
i waited a fair bit for my bak chor mee (minus beansprout because i don’t like the texture okay) despite coming on open but the wait was very worth it. only $15, good spice level, full flavor, and great portion. dining in is very worth it so come early.
also this is the same location block that has gone through like 5 different iterations so i do suggest trying it before the next comes in

So yummy!! And I find their food as good or even better than what you’d get in Malaysia! Generous servings as well! And great chilli, soup and Chinese tea accompaniment. Went back today and was so disappointed to hear that they no longer serve their Prawn Noodle Soup! I felt it was one of the best in Perth! Ordered their Chilli Pan Mee instead today - very yummy!
