The taste and presentation are average. Tofu texture is acceptable but not the authenthic type. Seafood in spicy ramen just alike Coles marinara mix. Just need little bit improvement to enhance the overall experience.

Having lived in Japan for a full year (365 days), and Japanese cuisine being my favorite, I was excited to try this restaurant
And I have to say that my expectations were met
It has a good amount of seats inside, and a few outside
The look and atmosphere is typical Japanese, including with the open kitchen, loved it
Staff is very welcoming
The menu offers a good variety, with very different items that are popular in Japan, both in regular restaurants and street food/ good trucks type: gyoza, takoyaki, tempura, okomomyski (savory pancakes), ramen, udon, soba, katsu (cutlet), donburi, bento, teriyaki, curry, niku (BBQ), sushi, sashimi...
As for drinks they have done typical ones, such as Ramune, which I ordered
I was willing to have takoyaki and gyoza, and so I did
But I also followed their recommendation and tried niku tadaki
Good choice. You get your personal grill, allowing you to cook it exactly as you'd like. It came with green salad, miso soup, and steamed rice. A must try
Just like this restaurant

The zaru soba (cold soba) was a great choice on a hot day! My only complaint was that the broth was a bit lacking in flavour and depth. You order via QR code on the table then pay at the counter at the end. They offer complimentary water and tea.

Came to Tokyo Table on a Wednesday night, still pretty busy and had to queue for around 15 mins. The experience was great overall, highly recommend the Wagyu Tadaki, the flavour was great and it was fun to grill it a bit ourselves. The pieces were quite small though and very thinly cut. Other dishes were okay, we found the soba dipping sauce a bit too bland. Also, we were told that there weren't any sushi for the day, but everyone around us who came later were having sushi...
