Recently visited this place as it looked very appealing when it was getting built and I love the classic Singaporean chicken rice. Although the food was good, it wasn’t up to mark to the classic chicken rice. The soup was bland and rice wasn’t as flavourful. And unfortunately my partner was almost finished with his meal before my meal even came out with no acknowledgement or clarity as to why.
Might wait awhile before I try this place again.

Good selection of rice and noodles. One of the few places with oyster omelette. Disappointed in king prawn noodles as the prawns are not fresh but powdery. If there are no fresh prawns, I suggest it is replaced with glazed prawns instead. Kwap chap should be boiled a little longer so that it is softer.

Arrived before 6:00pm and was seated straight away. A few people waiting when we finished and left. Quite popular. Had the Nasi Lemak with Curried Chicken. Very nice and spicy. Good portion size. The Sambal was really good and I'll be happy to come back and have it again. Really the best Nasi Lemak I've had in a long time. My dining companion had the Hainese Chicken and was very happy with it too. It had 3 different dipping sauces on the side and came with a bowl of clear soup. We've had the real thing in Hainan and this was as good as there in her opinion. She couldn't finish the rice as it was a lot for her. Gave me a bit extra to soak up my Curry sauce ;) I note that the chicken is free range and some reviews were saying it was a bit tough, but that's what you get with free range chicken, more taste but a bit tougher. We'd rather have free range than caged chicken full of chemicals TBH. The food came pretty quickly and seemed that way for other diners as well. Menu prices are quite reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. We'll be back. On street parking was free and easy to find in the evening. Just take note of the clearway times on the other side of Whitehorse Rd.

The noodles had plenty of wok hei. The braised meat and noodles were ok. The white radish was terrible. The food is alright but not a standout. The floor was so wet could have easily slip.

Chicken rice was good, chicken soft and well cooked. Rice and good also. Friend kuey teow was surprising good, with enough wwok hei.
Singapore hokkien mee was also enjoyable.
Will definitely recommend.
