I was told the food in this restaurant is not good so haven’t tried until now. They have casual dining set menus at a reasonable price. We chose set menu B $79.90 (cash)
🔸Homemade Tofu
🔸King Pork Ribs
🔸Sambal Kang Kong
🔸Free Range Chicken
🔸4 bowls of rice
Add $9.90 for steamed whole barramundi, we opted for the ginger steamed.
We got all the dishes very quick and they all tasted delicious, except we found there was way too much ginger on the fish.

Was busy, queue to get in for table, then queue to place the order. However, food was prepared fast, and the fish head noodle soup made it worthwhile. Satay chicken skewers was nicely grilled. Atmosphere is typical hustle bustle Malaysian.

Pretty good food, tastes like Malaysia, value for money, lots of other malaysian eateries charge a lot more for worse

Extremely affordable for students with their $10 lunch specials that are quite large considering the price. Food is rich and flavorful with a large array of sides to choose from. Employees are kind, accommodating and work quickly to ensure there are no wait times when dining in. Perfect place to go with friends and family.

Got the promotion combo set of:
A. curry fish head soup,
B. in-house tofu (highly recommend),
C. vegetable platter (Sambal Kang Kang) and
D. 4 bowls of white rice, with a few extra dishes (penang lebak plus chicken dish) for 7 people.
Curry fish head soup was really nice- quite authentic and spicy to a satisfactory level.
Homemade tofu was probably the highlight of the experience, with the silkiness being truly commendable.
Sambal Kang Kang was quite decent but nothing outstanding
Penang Labak was incredible!! Contender for best entree for sure.
Chicken dish however, was a little underwhelming- nothing that I can praise nor critique, it was just really average.
Drinks- iced lychee and teh Tarik were alright.
Service was quite quick, and overall the dining experience was largely positive.
Takeaway- 50/60 cents for a plastic box if I recall correctly
Great local spot!
