We had a positive experience at this Italian restaurant. The staff were friendly and very attentive to detail, making sure our order was correct and nothing was missed. The pizzas weren’t the best we’ve had, and the toppings were fairly standard rather than premium, but the meal deal makes it good value for money. The pastas were okay, not outstanding, but still enjoyable. Overall, it’s a pleasant place with great service and solid food for the price.

From the moment we walked into Nonna Rosa, the calm, welcoming vibe made it the perfect spot for a relaxed evening out. We ordered two large pizzas, a large chips, and coffee, and with our deal through EatsClub the total came to about $40, a fantastic value. The vibe inside is very low key.
The pizzas were fresh, generously topped, and clearly made with care, each bite delivered flavour and satisfaction. The large chips provided a great side, crispy and ample. The coffees were solid, rounding out our meal nicely.
What stood out most was the value: for the price, the food exceeded expectations. It’s rare to get such quality and quantity at that cost. Additionally, the interior was pretty quiet and comfortable, so we could enjoy the food and each other’s company without the distraction of a noisy crowd.
The service was friendly and steady, a genuine, family restaurant feel that made us feel well looked after. The ambiance is such that you could bring family, friends, or just enjoy a casual meal.

Under new owners since around Christmas 2024. The last owners were lovely but the pizza was underwhelming. This time my partner and I ate in on a quiet Friday night, looking for a good local pizza pasta joint. We got the Pescatore pasta with fettuccine and a half and half gourmet with the Nonna Rosa special and Tandoori chicken. Sizeable portion of pasta in a lovely creamy sauce, and the family size pizza was HUGE. The sesame crust on the Nonna Rosa was incredible, I've never had anything like it - so impressed! and you could taste the deliciously marinated tandoori chicken in every bite. We dined in and got a couple of glasses of red for about $8.50 ea too. And we appreciated that the owner/chef came out to say hello and ask us how the food was, and had a chat to us afterwards as well. We will most definitely be back!

Lovely new onners at Nonna Rosa. The pizzas were delicious with fresh ingredients, the service is friendly and the owners took a little time out to have a chat and introduce themselves.
They haven’t been there for long, I know they’ll do a great job on the decor and atmosphere when they get a little more established.
It’s definitely our new local.
