Order Food in maylands

The chicken katsu was crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside. The egg was soft and slightly runny, coating the rice and chicken beautifully without overpowering the flavour. Portion was generous, and the sauce tied everything together with a nice savoury touch. Would definitely order again when I’m craving comfort food :D

Had my taste buds set on a Laksa tonight. So after letting Google do the easy stuff I walked the 1500 or so from my hotel to Bun Vermicelli. Ordered a chicken Laksa as well as the Salt and Pepper Prawns for an entree. Normally I'd skip the entrees but they looked great on the menu. I wasn't the only one as the patrons who sat next to me ordered the same. Im a visitor to Adelaide and this city is blessed with so many wonderful places to eat. Lucky South Australians. However I now have another reason to visit again.

Manager came out specifically to tell off the lovely workers who were very attentive, because they forgot to charge and extra $2 for gravy on the side. He yelled at them in front of us rather then pulling them aside later, he seemed like a right asshole, I apologised and offered to pay the $2 but the girls were very nice and said it was fine. Management need to pull their heads in and start treating their workers better. Chips were slay tho.

Came here after our hike to Mount Lofty and oh boy was it a good meal. At 18Aud, it was a huge bowl of pho with plentiful of beef combination meats. The cold spring rolls were excellent also as well. The owner was kind enough to offer us a free packet of prawn crackers too. The soup stock was very flavourful and savoury and exactly what you'd want on a cold winter day. What a great meal.

Holy crap. I am a birria taco connoisseur and this is by far the best place I’ve been to in Perth. Imagine your classic street food tacos (oily and delicious broth) well this place was it. The staff were friendly and although it was quiet the atmosphere had great potential. I would highly recommend this place and I will for sure be coming back!!
