micks-ocean-fresh-fish-takeaway

quote Fresh fish and seafood on display, clean, organised shop. We ordered Flake, Chips and a Cheeseburger for takeaway. The flake was the best I’ve ever had, tender and juicy, not greasy or overcooked. Chips were great and the medium serve was very generous! Cheeseburger was tasty, fresh roll and very enjoyable! Definitely return next time we’re in Bendigo!

new-china-kennington

quote Popped into the New China, Asian restaurant in Kennington for a quick take away. I was very pleased to be able to buy a mixed pack here. I had fried rice and beef and black bean. The meal really hit the spot. The welcoming service we received was friendly and with a smile. One of the best things about the restaurant is the convenient parking available right outside. If you are after a quick tasty Asian meal I’d recommend you consider New China Kennington.

quote Good fish and chips here. On the way home we decided to call into the McIvor Road Fish and Chip shop. Although there was only a few of us in the shop we could tell that they must do a lot of phone orders as the deep fryers were working overtime. We ordered the stock standard fish and chips with potato cakes to takeaway. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the order was filled fairly quickly considering how busy they were. Although there are a few metal seats outside, no tables, this is a predominately takeaway store. Worth considering if you are after a feed of fish and chips.

toi-shan-bendigo

quote Amazing food, we stopped in Bendigo on our way to Adelaide and had heard good things about this place. So we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. The homemade steamed dim sim were next level, as were the spring rolls, prawn toast, and satay chicken skewers. Then we had the sweet and sour pork battered and it was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Just a shame that they will be closing down for good in August. Will have to make the 3 hour drive back down before then.

quote Reilly was awesome, extremely accomodating staff member who stopped at nothing to make sure the kids and I had a lovely meal. The mongolian beef was bonza and the honey chicken was good. Fried rice was bangin.

din-fung-dumpling-restaurant

quote Finally found a spot in Bendigo that does custom orders and the taste is impressive compared to other Chinese dishes I’ve had in town. I’ve only tried a little on this first visit, but so far, so good! Definitely keen to come back and explore more of the menu.
