Squid stick: Good.
Beef noodle (yakisoba?): Good. Meat is easy to chew, very soft.
Karaage and katsudon: Not good, they were burnt. I couldn't enjoy the food because the burn taste of breading and panko bread crumbs were overpowering. Just need to swallow it because I do not like wasting food and money. Burnt food is not a first time complain, had seen someone mentioned it here. Order time was not during rush hour so I do not think that frying was rushed for it to be left burnt.
This is our second time ordering here, first time was okay (takeaway), no burnt food. Serving size is consistent.
Will not reorder deep fried food. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was our second time dining here and it was just as good as the first. We had a roast pork ramen and a chicken katsu curry (highly recommend), which were both delicious. Also shared some sushi, the filling was very fresh and generous. All reasonably priced.
The couple who work there were also really lovely. It's fantastic to be able to support a great small business and not have to drive an hour for a good Japanese fix.
Will definitely be back many times! 😊

Great atmosphere. It's a cozy and tidy place to have a meal.
The service was very good as well.
We ordered roast pork fried rice, plain yaksoba, katsu prawn and fried dumplings. Every single dish was very tasty.

Small tucked away sushi shop nearby the main strip of the waterfront at Rockingham.
The staff were really friendly and lovely.
There's a mix of cold sushi ready to eat (sliced not handrolls) and also other Japanese dishes that can be ordered hot such as bento boxes and rice bowls.
The katsu chicken sushi was really good, although the teriyaki chicken was a bit average but not bad. Ok portions for the price.
