Wonderful dinner experience — exactly what we needed We were travelling from Sydney to Brisbane and arrived quite late, with elderly family members. Thankfully, the one-hour time difference worked in our favour at Coolangatta, and we came across this amazing Indian restaurant. The service was outstanding — the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. They even took our order over the phone, which made things much easier for us, and once we arrived, they took great care of my aged parents. That level of attention really meant a lot to us after a long day of travel. The food quality was excellent — fresh, well-cooked, and flavourful, with no acidity or discomfort overnight, which is always a big plus when travelling with elders. Overall, a very good experience for both service and food. Highly recommended, especially if you’re travelling or dining with family.

The food here was delicious – the butter chicken, naan and saffron rice were all really enjoyable. Portion sizes were good, and the flavours were spot on. The restaurant itself feels a little run down and dated, and at times the service seemed slightly disorganised and a bit chaotic. It’s BYO, which is great, but the ice buckets are too narrow and they didn’t have ice on hand. To their credit, the staff were lovely and went out of their way to source some ice for us, which was very much appreciated. With just a few small adjustments and updates, this place could really reach its full potential. Overall though, tasty food and friendly service made it a good experience.

We had the absolute BEST dinner tonight! I highly recommend this place! we ordered a hot lamb Vinderloo and a mild butter chicken with garlic naan & a cheese & garlic naan, it was AMAZING!! The greatest Indian In Coolangatta if not QLD. Thank you so much, we will order with you again!

Absolutely LOVE the butter chicken, saffron rice and garlic cheesy naan. Absolutely mouth watering, so beautiful and so flavourful. Just about melt in my seat for the butter chicken. I spend an average of $60-$70 for two people but for the price it’s just so worth it and I’d go here forever just for the butter chicken alone. I highly recommend this restaurant. Such lovely people as well and beautiful place. You just gotta go here. Try it out. Can’t stress enough how beautiful it all is. You’ve officially got me as a loyal customer guys😍

Beautiful home-style Indian food! We ordered vegetarian samosas, chicken tikka, butter chicken, rice, and naan bread — everything was absolutely delicious 🤤. The food came out quickly, fresh and full of flavour. You can tell it’s made with care and love. The décor could use a little updating, but it has a cosy, home-style feel that suits the friendly and welcoming staff. For around $80 including a couple of drinks, it was great value for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, tasty Indian food in Coolangatta!
