I had a wonderful experience at Royal Rasoi Indian Restaurant in Victoria Park! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Nice little restaurant. Lovely seating area outside. Nice murals on the back wall. There's a little sink for hand washing next to the counter with delicious looking home made sweets.
We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who I think may have been the owner.
The plain dosa was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfect. The sambar had lots of veg and was the perfect consistency with lots of flavour. One of the best I've had. The home made tomato chutney had lovely hints of roasted garlic and the coconut chutney was delicious.
The chicken curry melted in your mouth. The chicken pieces were large and succulent and there were a lot of chicken pieces.
The paneer bhurji was my favourite. It was full of flavour, especially with the fenugreek leaves. Again a large portion.
We had lovely soft tava roti which were cooked to perfection. Not many restaurants offer these.

Such a charming spot with beautiful murals on the walls and soothing instrumental Bollywood music in the background. We enjoyed the unlimited thali, which included a flavorful daal, two types of paneer curries, and a vegetable dish—everything was delicious and felt like a comforting home-cooked meal. The service was warm and generous. Definitely a place to revisit for a satisfying and authentic dining experience!

We ordered take away for the first time tonight including butter chicken, samosa chat and beef masala. Every dish was delicious and full of flavour. We will definitely be back! A fantastic local!
