Could not recommend this place enough if you’re coming to Daylesford or anywhere nearby. Been to a lot of Thai places but this was a step above anything else I’ve had. Seriously unreal depth of flavour in all the dishes and possibly the best satay sauce I’ve ever tasted. Love the banquet menus as it showcases all the best the restaurant does!

Came to Daylesford for a couple of nights and decided to try this restaurant for dinner - so glad we did! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavours. The restaurant was extremely busy with both dine-in and takeaway orders, and there was a wait for food, but this was clearly communicated. Despite the rush, our waitress was incredibly kind and served us with a constant smile. We didn’t have a reservation, yet we were still warmly welcomed. Coming from Melbourne where great Thai food is easy to find, I honestly couldn’t fault this place. I’ll definitely be back one day!

I have been to Red Ginger Thai a couple of times and it is the place to experience authentic Thai food. I have tried several other Thai restaurants in Melbourne and other country towns, however, Red Ginger Thai’s authentic flavours are exceptional. Highly recommend!!!
