Traditional Vietnamese cooking is greatly admired for its fresh ingredients, minimal use of dairy and oil, complementary textures, and reliance on herbs and vegetables. Common ingredients include shrimp paste, fish sauce, bean sauce, rice, fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables.
We love this place, and eat here almost every week. The staff are friendly, and the food is terrific.

A small food place in the neighbourhood of Flat Bush. Serves nice steamed buns and hot soy milk. Price is reasonable and portion is decent. The guy at the counter is super friendly too!

Amazing casual but elevated breakfast. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautiful presentation. The kids had waffles with caramelized bananas and bacon. We even tried the Vietnamese prawn spring rolls with peanut hoisin sauce which were excellent. Gorgeous lattes and hot cocoas too! A hidden gem!

Lunchtime!
We are into sammies sp that's what we focused on.
Small white bread club sammy - lettuce/egg/ham. Lovely lot of egg & dressing. Nothing to stick to anchor the lettuce on one side or the ham on the other......
My veg sammy was was wholemeal bread, lettuce & beetroot. Again no butter/margarine.
Lovely cappuccino that was brought to us.

Good place to have a bite. The buns are always good; get the cabbage and red bean buns. Their fried dumplings are also delicious; we love the pork and chives, which I highly recommend. Overall OK but not that impressive.

The sushi rolls are generously packed and of high quality. They offer a wide variety of options, including fish, meat, and vegetarian rolls. On top of that, the prices are reasonable and offer great value for money. Hands down the best sushi shop I have been to in New Zealand.
