I don't normally go for fish and chips but occasionally get a craving that usually ends in regret. Not this time! I decided to try my local as it changed hands a little while ago, and it was GOOD! Crumbed snapper with min chips. Yummo. Took it home for an enjoyable evening.

The price is a bit steep and the portions are not as generous as some of the other fish and chips store in Rockingham. We had a meal for one and a kids meal. The quality is okay and the service is great. We would probably try other places next time.

Huge portions, good size fish, huge battered oysters, kiwi hotdogs with that real yummy sauce, lime milkshakes/thickshakes, chips cooked well. Did not disappoint at all. Definitely a must have place to get your fish and chips!

I have ordered from here a number of times and, every time, the quality of their food and service have been consistent and commendable! They serve the BEST fish and chips, I can attest to that!! Their chips are crispy on the outside and pillowy soft potato on the inside. The batter on their fish is thin, has a good crunch to it and not greasy, and the fish is always white and fleshy. They have an extensive menu with ample options and the prices are very reasonable! The Manager is very personable and the staff are friendly (I have witnessed a display of chivalry, by one of the young men serving, towards one of the elderly customers, which is refreshing to see and a rare characteristic in this day and age). I am highly recommending Penguin Tucker Box for their exceptional fish and chips and for their lovely service!! Experiences are personal, so try for yourself and let your taste buds to the deciding ;-)
