Amazing value for money! The prices are very reasonable and the food is incredibly authentic. A bowl of noodles for just $10 is an absolute steal. The service is quick, and the flavors are truly genuine. Highly recommended for a delicious and affordable meal!

Food was authentic and reasonably priced with good portion.Wat dan hor was great, the kl hokkien mee was not what I expected but very tasty nonetheless. I need to try every single dish on the menu!

Think Jalan Alor Ferntree Gully or Nan Yang Kopitiam Glen Waverley, but in our local neighbourhood of Rowville. The menu is similar, and the food is great. Also at a "nice" price. We had the mee goreng and fried koay teow. It tasted good. Yet to try the other dishes.
I would recommend this place.

Another Malaysian restaurant similar to Nanyang Express and Jalan Alor. In fact, the menu and prices are very similar too.
First let's talk about the food. My family had dinner there. We ordered Sar Hor Fun, Curry Chicken Nasi Lemak and Hainanese Chicken Rice. The quality was good and was on par or better than Nanyang Express and Jalan Alor. I was a bit disappointed that Char Koay Kak was not available yet. One thing that impressed me was the Sar Hor Fun (aka Wat Tan Hor) had darkened fried flat rice noodles. This is how they do it in Penang. Very authentic.
Next the service. Not much service to be honest. The shop was almost full but the staff were not particularly busy. So when the staff just dropped our dishes at our table without cutlery, they didn't even bother to tell us to self service. Since they were just all standing there, they could have also just asked what we needed and get us some. Now that would be what I call customer service. Now I don't mind that but other customers may think otherwise.
Finally, the environment. The tables were placed too close together making it hard to move around. They either need a bigger shop or could use fewer tables. Parking was good though since there was a massive carpark out the front.
I will come back for the delicious food and the very reasonable price.

First time trying the food here based on recommendations from friends. I tried the Penang sar hor fun, lobak and Assam laksa. All were very delicious and authentic. I have been to Malaysia many times and tried food in Penang, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur and I must say the chef has managed to capture the essence of that authentic Malaysian taste. I am impressed and will definitely come back
